Sentence Beginnings

Today room 13 learned about sentence beginnings. We highlighted the beginnings from Toreka's story. We put them into Wordle to see how many different words Toreka used in that story.

Rube Goldberg

On Friday we made a marble run, it was fun, we tweaked and fixed and made some modifications. We made it with dominoes, marble balls, a little bottle and we had many attempts. In my team was Flora, Shanika, Laita, Wakatere , Iron and Chyna which is me. We were working as a team, Iron kept on trying and trying like 20 times. So at the end it was perfect and it was.

straw bridge

Today the clss made a bridge out of straw in 5 group’s. Flora,Shanika , Laita and Chyna which is me were in the same group.We work as a team group we had fun and it was cool.

Tornado

Yesterday in the afternoon at 3.00 there was a tornado in NZ, in Albany. The powerful cold wind mixed with the hot air and this makes a tornado. It was a mean beast. It was a twister and a destructive and powerful force when it touched down.


The homes and car were up sied down and one pepole was killed. It was a mess the trees were rip off.

Straw Towers

Room thirteen were building straw towers with 75 straw it was fun and cool and we had to building it with strategy and we were working as a team cap we had ideas and a plan. We had to do it for topic and learn about it and it was for to work as a team work and be creative. Who was in my group was Jordenne, Sela, Lesieli, Iron and me.

Glee

Wow the glee group was cool and when then was singing at the end at assembly it was cool to on the stage when the ballerina was dancing and on the stage there were statues and my favourite part was the maori karanga at the beginning. At the end they were still dancing. There were 3 ballerinas dancing and when I was looking it was cool when I went to watch the Glee group. At the end they were singing the Pt England way and I liked the singing.
