Alien snot

Oe making alien snot is yuck i don’t like making it. It was running down when i packed it up it was like glue but when i pack it up it was gooey.But it was nice to make when i pack it up i went to small it it Small's yuck. Hi my name is Chyna and we made some alien snot miss king was getting it redll . While Miss Fire Jineile was putting some cornflower in to your baol she tip some out. How to make Alien snot. You wold need to have some cornflower and a little of water then you have mict it. Then put some green food colouer the you have to mic it a gen then it while trn to green snot. It feels like yuck smelly shtaif going down my hand.An it looked like gacj for what now.After we had made some alien snot we all had a trn then we had to go and whash ourhands and then go and sat on the mat.

Wow this morning we had an immersion assembly in the hall we watched team1. While we were watching the movie the teachers were making a sun out of paper, they had yellow hats on and the song was here comes the sun. Mr Burt told us what our topic was this term it is outta this world .Mr Burt said “say outta this world”.Then we looked at some movies from team 2 there movies were about the earth.Some of the teachers were dress up as ballerinas with a tutu.Team 5 have aliens masks on their faces.I really enjoyed assembly and I am looking forward to learning more also I am excited and happy about the first day back school. My favourite team is team 4 and team 1 i like team 4 because i like the song tittle tittle little start and mss king looked cool with her pom poms and pink hair.

Sonny Bill

Hi there I’m Richard `Hugh McCaw, my nickname is Richie fluffy I was born on 30 December 1980 in Oamaru. My great great grandfather immigrated to New Zealand in 1893 from Scotland. My dad works on our family farm while my mum is a local school teacher. I grew up on the farm with my sister Joanna. I love to fly gliders with my grandfather who was a pilot in world war 2. I play for my local rugby team Kurow rugby club. At oamaru boy’s high school in dunedin I started to take the game seriously and I got in to the school’s top rugby term.

Alfajorcitos

Que bueno son los alfajorcitos.Muy delicioso. Room 13 made alfajorcitos for a special treat.Alfajorcitos have bistcuts in and in them have dulce de leche in them. Then you have to put them to geter and make them like a samwchis . When i made alfajorcitos the dulce de leche was sticky and gooey they were delicioso to eat.

Aussie Rules

Last week on Thursday we played Aussie Rules. Allysa and Megan were going to teach us some skills and room 19 came with us.
The weather was changeable because it was cold one minute and sunny the other ,near the end game it was cold and raining.
Before we played a game we had to do a warm ups. We had to find a partner for our first skill. Megan showed us how to do kicks going straight, you had to keep the laces away from your face and keep the lines pointing up and down so you can kick the ball straight to your partner.
We played a game called bomb we had to kick the ball to the teacher ,I nearly got the ball at .

Cross Country

After lunch on Wednesday it was cross country at pt england school i didn't want to do cross country.
First it was the 5year old girls they went to the starting place and Mr Burt said "OK girls take your marks get set and go". After the girls had finished it was the boys turn.
There were colourful team colours all around. I am in Mataatua and my house is green.

As we waited for the race to start, I was filled with nervous excitement. Then it was time to go, “Oh no!” I thought I would come last because I don’t like running.
The first half of the race I was coming 5th, I started to get tired and people passed me. I faht that i couned’t stel run but my leg’s were sore.
Then when i was finish i sat back down with my teacher wanted for the other one’s and then when i was nearly there my legs were crying. Then when we were finished.

Cross Cuntry

Today is cross country and i am in matowa the green term i don’t want to do cross country to day i want to do it next week . I don’t like cross country my gole is to come 4
not 1st. I hart cross country because i came last last yrem.

Healthy Food

Children need a variety of healthy food everyday to make sure they grow and learn. Eating food from the 4 main food groups gives kid’s energy. The four main food groups are meat and fish milk and dairy fruit and vegetables and bread and cereals.

Fats and sugar can be eaten occasionally but their amou should be limited. Water and milk are good for everday. June and fizzy should be left for treas.

In order to live a healthy and happy life eat a new balanced diet.

Jonah is a all black he is farms and a superstar he played 63 rugby games and he was the first global superstar and he is 196cm tall 125kgs. he was playing for the wales and honk kong,wellington but then he said i want to go back to the all blacks.he is a intimidating player and he impact on the game.

Weaving in and out, the charging bull was sidestepping with power. Ma’a Nonu was fast and furious while running with the ball. While running with the ball some players were bouncing off him. He was fast and furious, as he slipped out of the tackle.

Beep test

On Monday room 13 had a beep test where you have to go and run up to the coiers when the beep go's you have to run 10m log it was tiring fr us first it was the girl's. I run up to level 4.0 but you have to get up to 15.10 then when i got up to level 4.0 i had a sore leg's from runing then it was the boy's trun some yer 4 boy's got up to 14.9 and then we went to class and had lunch and then go home.

Badminton

We went to play badminton in the hall with Donna she came to teach us to play badminton it was cool.


When it was badminton time the girls got their shuttle and then we got a racquet and sat back down again. Then the lady Donna said “.Put you thumb on top of the racquet and trun it up side down and then get the shuttle and get it from the feathers then hit it’’.

Then when she count down from 5 then we all had to go and sat down then we had to get a partner and get 5 shuttles each it was me and Sela then we had to hit it to each other like going back and forth. When I hit the shuttle to Sela I did a powerful hit. We used overhead, backhand and forehand strokes. You have to use quick body movements too. 


We all had fun and it was enjoyable.

Kiwiana

Welcome to New Zealand it is a Very Small country we have different cultures as we have different people they have came from other lands. The rugby world cup is on the 9th of September 2011. We are an isolated island, sitting just below Australia.

Jandals are some thing like you can wear to the beach when it is hot and if it is hot in a city then you can wear them.They are made from rubber and on top it has cool pictures. For when it is summer it has cool colourful pictures and has lost of colours on it. Some jandals are called slip-ons and some are called slippers.

The New Zealand Buzzy bee is the children's most famous toys. The colour of the bee is red, yellow, blue and black. The exact origins of buzzy bee remain a little unclear. It seem the bee was made in the very late 1930’s in a small workshop.

What was the problem and how did you decide to fix it? Our uniform is only black and red. But what if some students want black and blue uniform? We want to put some Polyester in it to be nice and warm for the student.

Moatat

OnWednesday room 13 and 14 went on a trip to moat when we got there we had to go in a room with room 14 the lady told us where the room was we had to have morning tea in there and lunch to after morning tea room 13 went to a room with old stuff in it we had a look a stuff i went to go to have a look at the quasars table when i look at the pink one there was a teeth bash and when i open the pink and blue one it was a fir at the end the lady put out a fackuamn it was a old one but it can worked at the end. After that we went to the void game room and played some games i was in Flora's group with Ana and Liesa and Shanika it was cool.Then we went and looked at this hot thing it is hot then a fire Flora's sutured said that the man is feeding the engine cola then we went on the playground then we and saw the old car's there were a big cool car with blue likest in the car and there was a little house. After that we hand lunch an d the we went to the black patch it was so dark we can't see and we can this feel the rise.

The BFG

Sophie and the giant were in the BFG’s home having a good time. He pulled out the frobscottle bottle, “Do you want some?” he asked her. The bubbles appeared to go down, not up. The BFG said to Sophie “In Giant Country the bubbles don’t go up they go down.” Sophie said “I will have a little bit then”. Feeling happier. The BFG then had a drink of the frobscottle and he was up in the sky. Sophie had a drink and said “That’s so yummy” and got up to dance.

Table bombing

Room Thirteen wold like to thanks DJ Ghosrok miss Tito’s son for bombing our tables. Thanks for the paint and we like the way you do it looks cool. And we would like to thanks for the words and the colours purple and yellow.

We put some words on the board and then we voted for the words.The most popular ones were learn, create, share I like those words.
Miss King told us to go and tell her to come up with some colours and some words. When he bombed the table the words where learn,create,share. Larsen used black, purple and yellow it’s not on the desk it’s on Miss King’s table it's like black . Some have purple colours and love hearts the writing is black and purple.

PT England Resort

PT England resort

In our resort me and my family came to relax and enjoy ouselves. Lying on the bed looking up you can see the fish tank in the ceiling with fish in it. The hotel is large and beautiful . We have a tv that appears in a window every time we watch it .

We can eat seafood in the room and you can eat any kind of food that you want.
When you walk outside you can see an ice cream truck and you can get some any time for free. There are some bumper cars that have the colours red, blue, pink ,and green. That was the best week of my life.

Miss King gave us the words "invented the space ship".We had to put details in the back and the front to make sentences.

Jet Plane

Me and my family went on a jet plane at the kids day, we got into the jet there were no seat belts so we had to hold the bar. I felt like I was going to fall out form the jet plane because it was turing ways and it was going up and down fast , my brother Mumu was crying because it was going to fast for him . It was cool I came out I was so red after that I say my nesh and neyou I said hi . After that we went on the fish boat on that one is was so breing on it went up and down . Then we got something to eat.

My Perfect World.

In my perfect world I would like a pink room with green curtains. I would like to eat some candy floss because it is yummy. My family would visit me every day.

In the Venice there are lots of bridges. The Rialto is an old bridge that people walk on. There are markets there and lots of people come and shop on the Rialto Bridge.

Swimming Days

Four days a week we go swimming this term. Under the sparkly water we swim like dolphins. We blink away the burn of our red eyes under the water. The clear water was sparkly like diamonds. Room thirteen were floating like starfish trying to keep our legs up and our whole body floating

Sentence Beginnings

Today room 13 learned about sentence beginnings. We highlighted the beginnings from Toreka's story. We put them into Wordle to see how many different words Toreka used in that story.

Rube Goldberg

On Friday we made a marble run, it was fun, we tweaked and fixed and made some modifications. We made it with dominoes, marble balls, a little bottle and we had many attempts. In my team was Flora, Shanika, Laita, Wakatere , Iron and Chyna which is me. We were working as a team, Iron kept on trying and trying like 20 times. So at the end it was perfect and it was.

straw bridge

Today the clss made a bridge out of straw in 5 group’s. Flora,Shanika , Laita and Chyna which is me were in the same group.We work as a team group we had fun and it was cool.

Tornado

Yesterday in the afternoon at 3.00 there was a tornado in NZ, in Albany. The powerful cold wind mixed with the hot air and this makes a tornado. It was a mean beast. It was a twister and a destructive and powerful force when it touched down.


The homes and car were up sied down and one pepole was killed. It was a mess the trees were rip off.

Straw Towers

Room thirteen were building straw towers with 75 straw it was fun and cool and we had to building it with strategy and we were working as a team cap we had ideas and a plan. We had to do it for topic and learn about it and it was for to work as a team work and be creative. Who was in my group was Jordenne, Sela, Lesieli, Iron and me.

Hi my name is chyna and in the holidays my sister came to my homes with my nephew and when came and when he came out he was fat!

Glee

Wow the glee group was cool and when then was singing at the end at assembly it was cool to on the stage when the ballerina was dancing and on the stage there were statues and my favourite part was the maori karanga at the beginning. At the end they were still dancing. There were 3 ballerinas dancing and when I was looking it was cool when I went to watch the Glee group. At the end they were singing the Pt England way and I liked the singing.

Hi my name is chyna and i go to ptengland school and i am 8 and i am a yera 4 i am in room thirteen it is cool in room thirteen because we get a net book that is my fish time i like my net book because we get to play games and some times we get to have free time on it i like playing on it and we get to have a net book bag it is black and my net book is balck to i what to change my back groune but no one is going to do it for me do it.

My Journey

Something was wrong and I heard my mum and dad whispering in the kitchen.
We had to leave London, and go to New Zealand. I knew that it would be long I know that the journey would be so scary on the boat but it would be good when you get there. We would have a great life that is beta in New Zealand.
The boat was constantly rocking and people were getting seasick, horrible food, no comfortable place to sleep, and the smell of all those unwashed people on board is Yuck! All the people hoped that it was worth it.

The Last 4 Weeks

4 weeks ago room 13 got netbooks. I had liked new things, like I have liked to put my writing on my blog. I learnt to write comments to my friends and leave my URL. I have learnt to go on tux paint and download my picture so it can come on my writing. I learnt to put my pictures with my writing and to click publish post. I know how to sign in to google docs and sign in to blog. I learnt how to go on people's name to go on their blogs so you can go and write to them.

Capture the Flag

We were batting & fighting under the relentless sun. Team 4 was playing capture the flag. All of us were scurrying like a rat, to guard our prize.

Writing To Christchurch

Dear people in Christchurch, I hope you have a good time pack and come to Auckland. Point England school loves you and i know that the homes are tumbled and they are not good to go into the homes. I hope you get your homes fixed and hope Christchurch gets better too.

Cinderella

Cinderella had a magnificent pink dress.
The fairy godmother came and gave Cinderella a magnificent blue dress.
Wearing glass slippers Cinderella and the Prince danced all night long.

I am Getting a Netbook.

I am going to get a netbook because I was chosen for a net book. I was happy when I got chosen. I got chosen because I was good at doing cool and good things on the computer. Also I like getting better at computers. It was cool when my class got the net books, but when I turned my net book on, my net book turned off because the battery was flat!
